STATION 26 BREWING CO IS HIRING A HEAD BREWER!

Station 26 Brewing Co. is seeking a Head Brewer to oversee all in-house brewing operations. This position is full-time and reports directly to the President.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all in-house brewing operations

  • Schedule and manage beer production for our taproom and for self-distribution

  • Create and brew new recipes for both taproom and distribution

  • Monitor, order, and report inventories of raw materials, including grain, hops, yeast, chemicals, and brewery supplies

  • Audit, update, and train team members on our standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety

  • Develop and manage a formal quality assurance and quality control program

  • Maintain timely and complete production records

  • Ensure safety and OSHA compliance

  • Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and areas for cost savings

  • Provide strategic input on issues affecting the organization


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum five years of professional brewing experience required

  • Capable of performing all aspects of beer production independently, from beginning to end, with no supervision. This includes brewing, cellar operations, filtration, cleaning and sanitation, and maintenance of equipment.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce award-winning and/or commercially successful recipes at scale

  • Experience mentoring and coaching brewery staff

  • Experience with Ekos Brewmaster, Orchestrated Beer, or other ERP program preferred

  • A quick learner who can rapidly embrace a new organization, culture, and responsibilities

  • Able to lift 55 pounds and move 165 pounds
